SentinelOne
Remodel
McKenzie Commercial completed a 26,000-square-foot remodel for the California-based endpoint protection company SentinelOne in order to meet the demand of their rapidly growing customer base. As Tomer Weingarten, CEO and co-founder of SentinelOne, said, “The Eugene-Springfield area has a long history of innovation and boasts some of the finest technology and security talent anywhere in the world.”
Their new Eugene office features high-end finishes and amenities as well as numerous energy-saving systems and sustainable elements. In order to provide private and secure meeting spaces, there are multiple sound-proof modules placed throughout the office, equipped with spotlights, outlets, comfortable seating, workstations and white boards. Employees can enjoy the new breakroom stocked with a multitude of complimentary food and beverage choices, or relax on a comfy couch while playing their favorite video game.
The increased security protocols and requirements influenced the design and execution of the project. Due to government required audits, those obligations established project milestones. The project was completed in phases and required constant schedule adjustments due to material shortages and delays that are common with the continued economic conditions.
